Our products are used nose to tail on commercial and military aircraft, as well as on jet engines, industrial gas turbines, automobiles, commercial transportation vehicles, wind turbines, solar power systems, and construction and industrial equipment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGood communication skills & knowledge of basic shop math Able to read, write and understand basic instructions in English Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly Able to learn how to use measurement instruments Ability to follow directionAbility to complete first piece verification Maintain a good attitude and be willing to learnCommunicates effectively with other team members and Production Team LeaderBe familiar with Human Performance tasks Able to perform entry level set-ups Understand the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable) Knowledge of all measuring instruments and gages for their operationAble to speak effectively before groups of co-workers, customers, auditors, etc. Able to read and interpret blue printsWorking knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles Able to comply to all SPC daily Requirements (if applicable)Able to understand and maintain machine complements (when applicable)LOTO certifiedAble to assist supervisor and lead person in the training of Machining Tech I-III Able to cross train in other areas as required Able to understand and meet department goals & metrics Participate in ABS Kaizen events as requiredProficiently sets up, operates, and trouble shoots machinery for self/othersAble to operate all standard machines related to the process in their assigned processAble to run hand feed grinding and CAM out (profile)Able to run straight shenk and TD grindingAble to run auto grind machines with 2 machine complement Able to prepare own tooling bladesExposure to surface grinder Able to perform own oil changeApply to read overlays on the comparatorAble to set-up and run independently RSS Grinders, Qualifications Basic Qualifications:Minimum 7 years' experience requiredEmployee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
