CNC Machinist

Aerotek is hiring CNC Machinists in Springfield, OH - Up to 32/hr

We are seeking a skilled CNC 5-Axis Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating 5-Axis DMG CNC machines to produce precision parts of various sizes. You will work with blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-Axis DMG CNC machines to produce parts of various sizes.
• Perform an average of 3 setups per shift.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce precision parts.
• Perform G&M code program edits as needed.
• Inspect finished products using precision measurement tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including filter and oil changes.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC setup experience, including performing offsets and tool changes.
• 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• 2+ years of experience performing G&M code program edits.
• 2+ years of experience performing quality checks with calipers and micrometers.
• 2+ years of experience with CNC Mills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating a lathe is a plus.
• Experience with a turn mill is a plus.

This is a permanent position based out of Springfield, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
