Machinist at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
CNC Machinist
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for machining and assembling parts per supplied prints using the tools and machines provided by the company. The role involves working on the 1st shift from 6am to 3pm.
Essential Skills
- Experience with CNC mills, Proto Trak, and manual mill machining.
- Ability to set up, program, and adjust speeds and feeds for CNC machines.
- Experience with scheduling and operating CNC milling machines.
- Proficiency in math and familiarity with G-code.
- FeatureCam or similar CAM software experience is a plus but not required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Related on-the-job experience or an associate degree, with 4 or more years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of production processes and material costs.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and problem-solve effectively.
- Strong communication skills and professional etiquette.
- CNC grinding experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with vertical and/or horizontal CNC mills.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
