Machinist-C at Avidity Science

Position Overview: The role of the Machinist-C is to operate adjust and maintain machines and equipment according to Avidity Science specifications and quality standards.Location: Waterford WIJob Type: Full-timeKey Job Responsibilities:Set-up operate and shut-down Boy injection molding machines for the production of molded silicone injected o-rings seals diaphragms and boots.Start up and shut down material pumps.Inspect molded parts for defects under a viewer continuously to ensure quality standards are met. Make changes in program settings on press to correct defects.Remove parts from the runner continuously.Troubleshoot Boy machines and make adjustments as necessary.Operate curing oven and post cure parts.Bag finished parts complete delivery ticket and deliver to the Stockroom as necessary.Complete material changes as necessary.
