Machinist at DiPiazza Machining & Fabricating

We are looking for Machinists. Top tier candidates will be paid for the ability to program, set up and run with little supervision. Most jobs average 3 parts or less. Experience preferred but willing to train someone who has minimal experience or is newly graduated from a trade school. Must have good mechanical abilities. Great clean work environment, steady daylight shift working 4 days - 10 hours/day. Optional overtime. 100% employer paid medical benefits including vision, dental & 401K. Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
• Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
• Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred but willing to train someone who has minimal experience or is newly graduated from a trade school
• Capable of performing setups and programming CNC Mills while working with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with machine tools and equipment
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be self motivated, good attitude and good work ethic
• Conventional milling, lathe work, and fabricating skills are a bonus but not a must

Job Types: Full-time

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift - 8:00am to 6:00pm M-T
• Day shift
