Join us as Machinist.Tuition Reimbursement & On-the-Job Training AvailableLocation Type: This is an onsite position located in Nashville TN.How Youll Make an Impact:This role consists of approximately 80% manual machining and 20% CNC workPerform manual machining operations with a high degree of accuracyProgram conversational controllers; familiarity with Acu-Rite MILLPWR G2 and EZTRACKInterpret and manipulate 2D CAD files and import DXF files for machining processesCollaborate with internal teams to confirm critical fixture setups including orientation and dimensionsMaintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standardsDemonstrated experience as a Manual Machinist with exposure to CNC machiningStrong understanding of machining principles and precision measurement toolsKnowledge of CMM and GD&T preferredAbility to inspect and confirm critical dimensions independentlyClearly communicate potential quality issues to managementNote:This list of responsibilities is by no means inclusive; however it is intended to be a guideline for activities.What Youll Bring:8-10 years of prior machining experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational school preferredJourneyman machinist preferredCompany Overview: At JR Automation A Hitachi Group Company we discover potential reimagine limits and advance industry.
