We are part of the USW Local #289 M (United Steel Paper and Forestry Rubber Manufacturing Energy Allied Industrial and Service Workers International) Union.Job Duties will include but not be limited to: Fabrication maintenance and repairs of production tooling through the operation of manual lathes mills surface grinders drill presses and some semi-automated machines.Read and interpret blueprintsUse precision tools to take accurate measurementsPosition Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position and be able to perform the following essential tasks continuously for an 8-hour shift.High school diploma or equivalent completion of vocational training or an apprenticeshipAbility to work independentlyStrong math and analytical skillsKnowledge of the properties of metals and other materialsStand at workstation for entire shiftLift up to 50LBSWork in cold winter and hot summer conditionsJob is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen within 24-hours of job offer.
