Maintenance Clerk at Kenan Advantage Group

Position Summary:
The Shop Attendant is responsible for the overall fitness and cleanliness of company vehicles and equipment. This role is primarily mechanical in nature, focusing on routine inspections and basic upkeep, and is not intended for those performing repairs or technical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine equipment fitness inspections, including checking tire inflation and tread depth.
• Monitor and verify fluid levels such as oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluid.
• Remove trash and debris from vehicle cabs to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Document inspection results and report any findings outside of standard parameters to supervisory staff.
• Assist with general upkeep and organization of the equipment staging area as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic understanding of vehicle components and safety practices.
• Attention to detail and reliability in performing routine tasks.
• Ability to follow instruction and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on equipment handled.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
