JOB DESCRIPTION:

Amrize Cement Inc. seeks a Maintenance Coordinator at its Sparrows Point, Maryland, plant to administer and coordinate the repair and maintenance of Plant property and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

• Improve the value of Plant assets through increased reliability and lower operating costs, ensuring equipment operations meet production requirements within budget guidelines.

• Conducting Maintenance Coordination activities

• Lead and ensure application of SOP and Job Safety Analyses (JSA)

• Manage DCSQP program.

• Assist in the establishment and implementation of the plant's maintenance policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance, support safety initiatives, and assist the department as needed to improve Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) performance and results.

• Supervise the SPP plant operators to reach the budgeted program within safety, quality, environmental, and cost constraints.

• Plan production and maintenance schedules, optimizing equipment utilization, and ensuring adherence to standard procedures.

• Address issues that may cause delays, develop solutions, and report to upper management as necessary.

• Contribute to the overall performance of the plant, ensuring coordination between all departments.

• Budget, plan, coordinate, execute, control quality and completion, and review all maintenance work; produce maintenance reports.

• Provide visible safety leadership to plant personnel by performing daily plant walk-throughs, routine inspections, and documented safety observations.

• Integrate Preventive Maintenance into planning and management decisions.

• Manage outages (including safety meetings and after-action reviews).

• Develop, coach, and manage maintenance staff, fostering effective employee relations and collaborative relationships.

• Assist plant management with the preparation of plant improvement plan (PIP) and maintenance budget.

• Perform annual net working capital audit.

• Oversee warehouse and inventory management.

This position does not entail travel and is not a remote position.

REQUIREMENTS:

The position of Maintenance Coordinator requires 7 years of experience in the job offered, as a Maintenance Engineer, Production Engineer, Production/Maintenance Planner, or in a related role. The position also requires the following number of years of experience with each of the following:

1) 3 years: As a supervisor in the cement/concrete industry

2) 3 years: SAP user

3) 3 years: Planning and scheduling plant maintenance

4) 4 years: Overseeing material supply within the cement/concrete industry

5) 5 years: Milling Systems and Kiln Operations

SALARY: $146,265 per year Standard company benefits apply
