Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilitiesLook after the maintenance of the hotel building and ensure that it contributes to a better hotel environmentInspect all the emergency tools on a regular basis and ensure they are working fineTrain the staff to act in emergency situations as and when they ariseSpot the areas of improvement and take measures to improve those areasPlan the renovations in such a way that it does not affect the hotel operations and does not cause any problems to the guestsTroubleshoot the issues and act on the complaints on a timely basisDesignate task to the other members of the teamEnsure all the technicians and janitors are doing their job properlyPrepare the necessary reports and ensure that the budget is being followedRequirementsBachelor degree in Hotel Management, Facility Management or relevant fieldCandidates having diploma in Management can also be consideredProven experience of working as Maintenance Manager in a reputable hotelCertified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) course will be preferredExtensive knowledge of health and safety standardsQuick decision making skillsExcellent communication skillsGood organizational skillsShould be a team player demonstrating excellent leadership skillsShould be a soft spoken personal and have a vibrant personality
