Maintenance Electrician at Eagle Railcar Management, LLC
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Coordinate the inspection, maintenance and repair of plant and railcar equipment. Will be responsible for maintaining facilities Preventive Maintenance Program. Will ensure that all mechanisms are operating properly and meet safety requirements. May research any major repair issues, review costs, authorize repairs and guide the repair process. Ensure all deadlines are met while monitoring that repairs meet budgetary concerns and fulfill compliance regulations.
Tasks:
- Will disassemble and troubleshoot any equipment when there is a problem that is hindering factory production.
- During the disassembly, you may need to lubricate the equipment or perhaps even calibrate it to the optimal specifications outlined in the manual for that piece of equipment.
- Check the performance of the different pieces of machinery, ensuring that they run correctly and that they are not hindering the operations of the plant.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records as well as review and follow-up equipment has returned to operation.
- In charge of everyday maintenance work around the facility.
- Must have a plan for to cover maintenance related issues 24/7.
Skills:
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures to equipment repair.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical repair, maintenance, repairs on hydraulic systems, various maintenance related testers and gauges, and repairs on gas and diesel engines.
- Able to stand for long periods of time with limited breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and team lift up to 150 pounds.
- Work in extreme temperatures and elements for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work at elevated heights.
- Must be able to read and comprehend basic drawings and scope of work.
- Must possess basic math skills, addition, subtraction.

Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate.
- 3 years verifiable work experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred).
