Pre-employment screenings and background checks will be conducted for all viable candidates.*POSITION: ENGINEER IIDEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCEREPORTS TO: CHIEF ENGINEERSUMMARY: To properly repair and maintain the physical asset and provide general leadership and support for Mechanic I team workers.REQUIREMENTS:Proficiency in two (2) categories of Mechanical Electrical Carpentry Painting or Plumbing and one (1) additional category listed below in the Attachment A plus general knowledge of the other categories.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.While performing the duties of this Job the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places; extreme cold and risk of electrical shock.
