The position focuses on manpower planning, leveraging Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and scheduling, and supporting ongoing process improvement efforts across facility operations.Key ResponsibilitiesWork Planning & CoordinationDevelop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedulesAllocate manpower and resources for both planned and unplanned maintenanceCoordinate contractor activities, including scheduling, documentation, and supervisionCMMS ManagementCreate, track, and close work orders in the maintenance systemReport and analyze technician labor hoursSchedule preventive maintenance tasks and generate performance/compliance reportsEvaluate CMMS data to identify performance trends and recommend improvementsProject & Process SupportSupport engineering and maintenance teams with project planning and documentationParticipate in improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance production throughputAssist with equipment repairs and builds alongside cross-functional technical staffInventory & ProcurementManage maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) purchasingMaintain accurate records for spare parts inventoryRequired SkillsProficiency in maintenance software tools, including CMMS platforms and Microsoft ExcelStrong background in maintenance disciplines such as hydraulics, controls, boilers, welding, pneumatics, and troubleshootingEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow instructions accurately and work with hand/power toolsPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and operate in varying temperature conditionsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain effective under pressureComfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment and participating in cross-functional teams (e.g., safety, compliance)QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferredPrior experience in maintenance planning is requiredProven ability to work independently and direct othersDemonstrated capacity to identify and implement process improvementsFamiliarity with various CMMS platforms and general computer skillsInterested in hearing more?
