Supports production by minimizing downtime performing equipment installations and contributing to continuous improvement.Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic robotic and automated systems. Use PLCs ladder logic and HMIs for fault resolution.Automation Support: Maintain and support automated production equipment including robotics conveyors sensors actuators and control systems.Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance on heading threading painting packaging and automation equipment.Equipment Installation & Upgrades: Assist with setup installation commissioning and improvement of equipment using schematics and technical manuals.Machine Setup & Changeover: Support alignment and tooling adjustments during changeovers. Provide operator support during runs.Facility & Utility Maintenance: Maintain air compressors lighting water systems and perform facility inspections.Documentation: Accurately complete work orders downtime logs and maintenance records. Communicate repair timelines with production leads.Inventory Management: Track usage of tools and parts; request reorders to avoid downtime.Collaboration: Work with production engineering and quality teams. Train operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care.Continuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis and support equipment performance enhancements.Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA standards lockout/tagout procedures and company safety policies. Participate in safety programs audits and corrective actions.Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance preferred3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance ideally in fasteners or metal formingStrong skills in automation PLCs ladder logic and control systemsKnowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic and robotic systemsAbility to read blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manualsSkilled in minor machining or fabricationFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
