Basic Job Functions: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Maintain and repair all equipment including but not limited to shredder, eddy current, baler, etc. Acetylene torch and plasma cutting MIG welding and stick welding using 7018 Band Saw operation Change liners, grates, hammers, etc. Maintain conveyor systems, gear boxes, motors, etc Work in outdoor and indoor environments.
