Maintenance Mechanic Food Manufacturing at Rinvio Recruitment

**Purpose Statement** The Maintenance Mechanic ensures that all equipment in the plant runs smoothly by performing repairs and regular maintenance on various types of machinery.**Key Responsibilities and Outcomes** - Identifies and resolves any maintenance issues that arise.- Uses equipment schematics and manuals to tune machines for optimal performance applying basic electrical and mechanical principles to fix problems.- Applies general knowledge of plumbing metalworking and building maintenance when needed.- Works with various measuring instruments and devices to monitor equipment performance.- Provides training to new team members on necessary maintenance skills.- Keeps the work area clean and organized following safety and quality guidelines.- Operates the control system for monitoring equipment and completes necessary paperwork.- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Team Leader.- Assists and trains team members on basic troubleshooting techniques and supports production activities as necessary.**Knowledge Skills and Experience** - Must have 3-5 years of experience in food processing particularly in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment with advanced control systems.- Good communication skills are essential both in writing and speaking.- Ability to train other team members in maintenance tasks.- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.- Familiarity with control systems for monitoring equipment.- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.- Knowledge of plumbing metalworking and general maintenance for facilities.- Awareness of and compliance with safety guidelines.- Understanding of quality and food safety practices.- Knowledge of proper operating and adjustment procedures for machinery.- Ability to contribute to teams focused on improving production and supporting team involvement.
