Class SummaryJob DescriptionThe role of the Maintenance Planner Scheduler in Facility Operations is to ensure that all routine maintenance is efficiently planned and scheduled. To successfully perform this role the Maintenance Planner Scheduler will have the necessary crafts or special skills needed to perform maintenance activities safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on a team are imperative. Previous maintenance or operations experience in an industrial facility are preferred. Essential DutiesConduct site visits.Identify safety hazards and resource requirements including labor materials tools etc.Develop preliminary weekly schedules for review with operations and maintenance to ensure asset and resource availability.Approve final work schedules for release.GradeThe grade for this position is B24(2). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.Effective 4/11/2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree in manufacturing and/or technical related fieldThree years of progressively responsible trades experience in water/wastewater or similar industriesTwo years of experience in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as MAXIMO SAP City Works etcOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed aboveValid drivers licenseFor information related to position-specific essential duties knowledge and skills and physical requirements please click here.
