Join us and reach your higher purpose at Cargill.This position is in Cargills protein and salt business where we provide wholesome high-quality food products to a wide range of customers from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job Purpose and Impact Responsible for processing purchase orders negotiating with suppliers tracking orders and maintaining inventory for stock and non-stock MRO items. This position will work with staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business and make purchasing decisions based on demand. Key Accountabilities Ensure critical items needed for Production and Maintenance are always in stock. Initiate PR/POs for production supplies equipment related parts and supplies for maintenance. Receive and distribute all parts for Maintenance and Operations including safety stock parts Follow-up on past due orders Weekly cycle counts Maintain correspondence with vendors via phone and/or email Work with maintenance to understand and be proactive with their parts needs Maintain all new material to ensure inventory Handle basic issues while escalating more complex problems to appropriate staff Record and purchase all issue out material Organize parts storage Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Previous experience with Purchasing Previous experience with SAP Excellent organizational and time management skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently Strong interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in research and part identityEqual Opportunity Employer including Disability/VetRequired Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Cardiac,Event Planning,Front Office Management,Inventory Management,Adobe Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
