Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) 2nd Shift Industry: Manufacturing & Production Category: Manufacturing Production Location: Syracuse NY Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM (2nd Shift) SalaryRate: $72508 Status: Full-Time Relocation Assistance: Yes Overtime Eligible: No Bonus Eligible: No Security Clearance: Not required Visa Sponsorship: Not available Position Overview Client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) to join the 2nd shift maintenance team in our Syracuse NY facility. This role performs complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting CNC repair PLC logic analysis and equipment adjustments to maintain optimal production performance. What Youll Do Tear down equipment diagnose issues repair or replace defective electrical/mechanical components and reassemble following safety standards. Apply a basic understanding of PLC logic to troubleshoot machinery. Adjust equipment to specification and verify proper operation. Analyze machine cycle sequences identify malfunctions and apply machine repair theory and electrical theory to perform repairs. Conduct electrical test operations and interpret data. Work from complex schematic diagrams manuals and test procedures. Diagnose and repair defective printed circuit assembly boards. Perform related electrical or mechanical duties as assigned. Detect and report unusual conditions to supervision. Exercise judgment to interpret instructions follow routines and make decisions on repairs. Required (Basic) Qualifications High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Journeyman OR 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade. Experience with ladder logic circuit diagrams industrial motor control schematics and blueprint reading. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications CNC maintenance experience. Background in machining and electrical equipment. Two-year degree in electronics with mechanical experience or military electronics training. Experience working with hydraulics.
