Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryResponsible for performing diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, apartment complexes and offices and to assure safe and inviting properties and facilities for clients and staff. Perform manual labor and coordinate with contractors as needed.Position TypeExempt Full Time Essential FunctionsPerform scheduled preventative maintenance on properties and provide emergency/unscheduled repairs when neededRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceFollow written and verbal instructions and maintain effective working relationships with managers/staff/tenants and communicate effectively verbally and in writingComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasMove furniture and equipment as neededPerform necessary janitorial duties to ensure health and safety for residentsManage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionalityPerform general maintenance tasks including flooring, painting, and carpentryHelp develop and implement the budget for the maintenance departmentOther duties as assigned Responsible for placing orders for supplies in a timely mannerIdentify opportunities and recommends methods to improve work processes and financial performance.
