Maintenance Staff- HVAC at Texarkana School District

The Texarkana Arkansas School District is seeking applicants for electrical maintenancestaff effective immediately. This position holds a 240-day (year round) contract. Applicants must pass a national criminal background check and a background check through the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry prior to beginning employment.PRIMARY PURPOSE:Assist in following routine maintenance and repair procedures for assigned areas to maintain a high standard of safety and efficiency of all buildings and equipment.QUALIFICTIONS:Education/Certification:High School diploma or GEDValid drivers licenseSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of basic techniques of repair and new installation of assigned areas (carpentry electrical HVAC plumbing etc.)Ability to operate tools and equipment common to assigned areaAbility to lift and carry 75 lbs. without assistanceComputer skills for data cable insulationExperience:Five or more years experience in commercial plant operations in electrical/maintenance Key Skills Data Entry,Customer Service,Consultancy,Corporate,Informatica Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
