Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our production facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be essential to keeping our manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills and solid knowledge of maintenance practices in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to keep all production equipment and facilities running at peak performance.
• Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians through hands-on guidance, training, and day-to-day direction.
• Plan and coordinate routine maintenance inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to minimize production downtime.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment performance.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and applicable industry standards.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance needs.
• Support the development and monitoring of the maintenance department budget.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
• Stay current on new technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field such as Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or a related discipline; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to direct a small team effectively.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
