Recruiting Maintenance Supervisor 2 for Manhattan Psychiatric Center
Manhattan Psychiatric Center (MPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission-accredited facility, is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor 2 to join its team. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with pass days of Saturday/Sunday.
Maintenance Supervisor 2 at MPC will provide leadership and oversight of the activities of skilled trades, semiskilled, and unskilled positions including: and coordination across maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and well-maintained facilities.
- Coordinating maintenance operations to ensure a safe, reliable, and well-maintained facility.
- Overseeing the daily work of all maintenance shops.
- Reviewing work requests and assigning jobs based on the skills, tools, and time needed.
- Checking completed work to ensure it meets safety rules, codes, and project plans.
- Planning and scheduling maintenance and repair projects.
- Keeping records of work, materials, and staff performance, and supporting energy-saving and safety efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of first-level supervisory experience in either the maintenance and operation of a physical plant; building construction; and/or building renovation and/or repair projects.

This position is eligible for a Downstate Adjustment of $4,000.
Salary: $63,361 - $80,655
