Burlington Capital is currently reviewing applications for a maintenance supervisor position for our apartment community located in Richmond, Virginia. We pride ourselves in the quality living experience we provide to our residents and are considering individuals with demonstrated abilities in the areas of leadership, maintenance, repairs and customer service.PAY$25.00 per hour or more; Eligible for overtimeHOURSMust be available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with on-call rotation with the Virginia maintenance team on evenings and weekends (on-call schedule to be discussed during interviews).BENEFITSPaid sick daysPaid vacation daysPaid holidays401(k) retirement planHealth, vision, dental and life insurance is availableEssential job functions include:Lead, supervise and perform maintenance and repair work as directed (could include painting, cleaning carpets, appliance repair)Lead, supervise and perform preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot, perform and/or assist in maintenance and repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, roofs, carpentry and elevator.Assist in other duties as requested by managementMaintenance team members are required to be “on call”Control expenses to meet budgeted guidelinesProvide excellent customer service at all timesParticipate in all resident promotions and/or functions as required by the property managerFollow all safety and liability guidelines as outlinedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Must possess adequate working knowledge of a property’s significant maintenance needs such as HVAC, pool maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry etc.Experience in a supervisory role in maintenance or equivalent field requiredHVAC Certification requiredValid Driver's License and auto insurance, and good driving record requiredAbility to follow directives and work with minimum supervisionAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general publicIf you meet the basic requirements as outlined above, please apply here today!Competitive pay and benefits package will be discussed during interviews.
