This is a new position created to enhance the team’s technical depth, reduce downtime, and strengthen the plant’s troubleshooting capabilities.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex electrical issues, working across a wide range of production and facility equipment, and contributing to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Troubleshooting & RepairDiagnose and repair electrical issues on:Flexographic presses (Comexi, Uteco, W&H, Bobst)Laminators, slitters, pouch machines, and bag-making equipmentWork with facility systems including:Chillers, compressors, transformers, oxidizers, and distillation equipmentPerform safe, accurate work inside electrical panels using proper procedures.Assist with troubleshooting PLC/HMI-related issues (board swaps, sensor troubleshooting; no programming required).Mechanical & Multi-Craft MaintenanceSupport and repair facility and production systems (e.g., floor scrubbers, support equipment).Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, manuals, and equipment documentation.Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance through the NET Facilities system (monthly, weekly, quarterly, annual PMs).Collaborate with a team of maintenance techs and a maintenance manager to ensure efficient operations and minimized downtime.Experience & Skills RequiredTechnical SkillsStrong electrical troubleshooting capabilities with experience diagnosing complex issues.Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and equipment manuals.Familiarity with PLC interfaces, sensors, and HMIs for diagnostic purposes.Experience working on large industrial manufacturing equipment—preferably in flexible packaging, printing, plastics, or converting industries.Preferred BackgroundElectrical maintenance experience in a plant environment with a variety of equipmentMulti-craft skill set including mechanical aptitude.Field service technicians with strong electrical backgrounds are welcome to apply.Work Environment & ExpectationsAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environment, including Spanish-speaking colleagues; patience, professionalism, and respect are essential.Must adhere to strict safety standards—no high-risk or improvisational (“garage electrician”) methods.Flexibility to work various shift structures (8, 10, or 12 hours) and participate in evening on-call rotation.Steady work history preferred (2–3 years in past roles); Performance ExpectationsFirst 3 MonthsQuickly become effective at troubleshooting and responding to downtime events.Learn and adapt to the diverse equipment on the production floor.Successfully integrate with the maintenance team and contribute to daily uptime goals.6–12 MonthsExpand proficiency across all production and facility systems.Take a proactive role in identifying issues before failures occur.Strengthen preventative maintenance efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Equipment You Will Work WithProduction EquipmentFlexographic presses: Comexi, Uteco, W&H, Bobst (3–10 years old)Bag & pouch equipment: Totani, Sun Center, Hudson Thiele, Interlocks, RowansLaminators, slitters, comp slitters, converting linesFacility SystemsChillersCompressorsTransformersOxidizersDistillation equipmentFloor scrubbersSchedule & CompensationFlexible shifts available: 8, 10, or 12 hoursOn-call rotation during eveningsHourly pay + overtime (salary flexible based on experience)BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision benefits effective immediatelyRelocation assistance available up to $12,000 (prorated based on tenure)
