Maintenance Technician 2nd & 3rd shift 1000 Sign-on Bonus! at Sika AG

EXCELLENT PAY & BENEFITS (EFFECTIVE DAY 1!)Performs mechanical maintenance tasks such as preventative maintenance machine repair metal fabrication welding plumbing painting and other common maintenance tasks by performing the following duties. Maintains electrical systems for equipment.  Perform preventive maintenance system to maximize production time and minimize down time.Dismantles machines or equipment replaces defective parts and motors and adjusts feed mechanisms.Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts pulleys gears and bearings.Replaces or repairs machine belts.Removes dust dirt grease and waste material from machines.Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.Bends cuts and threads pipe cuts openings in walls ceilings and floors for pipes and seals pipe joints with sealing compound. Assemble reconfigure or move parts for workstations & other furnishings.Patches or replaces plaster board and paints walls ceilings and trim of building.Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.Operates welding machine to repair or join metal parts.Cleans work area tools and equipment.Operates forklifts boom lifts scissor lifts as requiredPerforms other routine duties as necessaryTroubleshoot control circuits in production equipmentImplement electrical/electronic improvements on equipment for better and safer performanceAnalyzing electronic components and systems to design and develop improvements to PLC systems mixing processes and production lineEvaluating operational systems and recommending design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions and improve productivityRepair and maintenance of all electronic and electrical systems of all production operationsPerform other duties when requestedQualifications : High school diplomaFour years maintaining manufacturing equipmentForklift CertificationAdditional Information : Perks & Benefits401k with Generous Company Match BonusesMedical Dental and Vision BenefitsPaid Parental LeaveLife InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid time off paid holidaysFloating holidays Paid Volunteer TimeWellness/Fitness ReimbursementsEducation AssistanceProfessional Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral Program & More!Sika fosters a culture of entrepreneurship empowering each individual to make decisions learn from experiences and shape their own career path.
