Ready to learn alongside amazing people solve complex problems and leave a legacy Join us.What you will doPerform maintenance on production equipment including performing preventative maintenance supporting troubleshooting spares and sustainmentCollect and evaluate operating data; work with engineering to determine process adjustments for optimal performanceIdentify possible improvements for standard operating procedures and work with engineering to evaluate and potentially qualify any procedural changesFollow and role model all safety rules standard operating procedures and maintenance instructionsPartner with Equipment and Facilities Engineering to support projectsMaintain and troubleshoot test and production equipmentLog and support the implementation of periodic maintenance (PM) schedules for multiple toolsAssist with equipment modification set up and qualificationCare for and clean process equipment and work areasTroubleshoot equipmentDocumentation & TrainingKeep accurate and complete records of activities performed and assist the operations team with the generation process documentation needed for high volume manufacturingCreate and update process documentation such as SOPs work instructions and preventative maintenance proceduresProvide training and hands-on guidance to other team members as processes are developed and scaledSafety & QualityMaintain a safety first mindset promoting and performing in accordance with Nirons safety policies and proceduresMaintain a high ownership customer focused commitment to providing high quality productMaintain a clean organized and compliant work environmentWhat we are looking forAssociate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology Electronics Mechanical or related field3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing equipmentAbility to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.HAZMAT and/or Emergency Response trainingHighly collaborative enjoys working within a diverse team environmentStrong interpersonal communication prioritization and organizational skillsAbility to self-direct troubleshoot basic problems and address root causesAn innovative practical approach to equipment optimizationDemonstrated maintenance skills in a fast-growing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manualsComfortable working with hand tools diagnostic instruments and software-based control systems.2nd Shift Schedule at NironThe baseline structure of Nirons 2nd Shift is Monday to Thursday 3PM to 12AM. However your work may necessitate flexibility beyond stated hours.Our pay and benefits$35.00-45.00/hour for 36 hours/week which is base rate 10% shift differential.
