Our recruiters look forward to speaking with you about your background skills and compensation requirements.Schedule: 3rd shift 8p-4a (schedule subject to slightly change)OverviewThe Maintenance Technician position will require electrical trouble shooting skills as well as an experienced mechanical are seeking qualified candidates with five years experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with an emphasis on electrical installation PLC knowledge preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for but isnot limited to machine installation control wiring installations and troubleshooting to the component level PLC understanding and troubleshooting skills (not programming) anchoring equipment running conduit pulling wire termination of conductors maintenance and rebuilding of equipment conveyor systems robotics and other routine maintenance duties.QualificationsEducation/ExperienceHigh school diploma required5 years experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with an emphasis on electrical installation and experience with preventive maintenance repair and troubleshooting in the following areas: conveyors robotics over wrappers palletizers shrink wrappers casers air compressors and boilers requiredExperience maintaining and troubleshooting automated conveyor equipment preferredCertifications in basic electrical mechanical motor control relay logic and schematic reading preferredExperience operating boom and scissor lifts requiredKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to use basic electrical test instruments to include VOM multi-meter clamp on ampere meter and other basic test instrumentsAbility to troubleshoot sensors photo eyes as well as how they relate to the PLC operationAbility to troubleshoot pneumatic cylinders and MAC valvesAbility to maintain and operate boilers and steam tunnelsSaddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity employer and an Affirmative Action employer as required by law.
