Rather it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished.Respond safely and efficiently to maintenance and repair needs to equipment and machineryEnsure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety-oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelinesConduct all processes and procedures in accordance with department guidelinesCoordinate and schedule repairs needed on equipment with the area supervisorCommunicate the repair schedule of equipment with all affected employees in the specific work areaTroubleshoot plan and execute repairsLocate identify and prepare parts listed to complete repairsProvide support and training to less experienced team members when appropriateWrite detailed preventative maintenance procedures and develop preventative maintenance schedulesDocument all repairs thoroughlyFollow all safety programs and policiesKeep work area clean and orderly using 5S system (standardize sustain sort set in order and shine)As a member of the maintenance team act as emergency coordinator - respond immediately to any workplace accidents that arise to tend to the tools and equipment involvedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:High school diploma or equivalent degreeDegree in Mechatronics Automotive or Diesel Mechanic or related programs preferredKnowledge of programmable logic controller (PLC) computer numerical control (CNC) helpfulOR 3 years of maintenance related experienceExperience:Experience in; machine repair including machining electrical hydraulics pneumatics welding plumbing and machine repair maintenanceManufacturing experience preferredCOMP AND BENEFITSStarting salary range: $23.00-36.00A.I.
