Maintenance Technician (8pm-430am) at Peet's Coffee

Peetniks are passionate and authentic learners and doers committed to the pursuit of only thing we love more than coffee is our people.The Maintenance Technician will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager working with cross functional teams to resolve concerns that will affect the daily operation. The maintenance technician will maintain and repair Peets roasting plant equipment and facilities to keep them in good working condition. Maintain and keep a good attendance record.Hourly Pay Range: $25-35/hr Location: Alameda CA Fully onsite M-F 8pm-4:30am (subject to change)What You Will Do:Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment according to the maintenance schedule.Diagnose and repair filling and assembly lines as needed. Interpret and utilize system error messages on related equipment.Understand roasting equipment operation which includes theoperation of HMIs. Be able to work on bag slitters and pallet lifter.Perform diagnosis and repairs onhydraulic and pneumatic systems.Read and interpret electrical diagrams as per equipment repairs and diagnosis.Possess the ability to use and understand multimeters.Repair facilities related items doors dock levelers lights ballasts sinks drains and general grounds maintenance.Assists with roasting equipment maintenance which will require the ability to work on ladders and use basic hand and power tools.Perform and assist in line change over and setups.
