Does this sound like you Join us!Our Company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician for our Market Rate Apartment Community The Atlantic Doral of 360 units in Miami Florida.Job Type: Full-TimeJob Description Summary: The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance in individual apartments common areas and amenity areas. Prepares vacant units for new move-ins. Performs routine preventive maintenance. Assists in various cleaning functions and assists in monitoring the grounds. Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the following duties. Responsibilities:Maintains and repairs buildings: areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: electrical plumbing carpentry HVAC landscaping painting cleaning appliances pools utilities elevators fencing/gates and fire systems.Responsible for completing all service requests/ work orders at the direction of the maintenance supervisor or property manager as required within 24 hours.Complete apartment service tickets and log all assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion.Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease to new prospects. The work includes the maintenance of the unit painting cleaning and carpet cleaning.Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses wiring and belts in machines and equipment such as truck street sweeper and other equipment used within the maintenance department.Assists in ordering supplies for the property.Cleans internal and external areas of buildings including dusting sweeping and mopping washes windows. RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED equivalency and minimum of 1-2 years direct experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community or equivalent combination of education and experience.EPA I or II Universal or HVAC certified is required.CPO Certification is a plus and experience maintaining pools is required.Must have supervisory experience.Thorough understanding of electrical plumbing HVAC systems carpentry landscaping painting cleaning appliances utilities elevators fencing/gates and fire systems.
