Maintenance Technician at Challenger School

Challenger School is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team in the northern Bay area. As a maintenance technician at Challenger you will be tasked with keeping our campuses safe functional and well-maintained. The standard work week is Monday through Friday 6:00 am 3:00 pm with occasional overtime opportunities. On a day-to-day basis you will be inspecting facilities performing routine maintenance tasks responding to urgent repair requests and coordinating larger maintenance maintenance and repair work on electrical plumbing and HVAC systemsComply with OSHA standards government licensing safety and operational requirementsMaintain interior and exterior functionality and safety of the school buildingKeep school grounds clear and functional through all seasonsOccasionally travel to other San Jose campuses to assist with maintenance tasks- 30 mile radiusWork patiently with coworkers and campus staffQualificationsReliable personal vehicle (mileage paid)General knowledge/experience with electrical plumbing HVAC drywall painting and to pass background checkCompletion of pre-employment assessmentsPosition OfferingsHealth InsurancePaid time off401kSignificant tuition discounts for children and grandchildren**Please be on the lookout for an email from This email confirms your application submission and provides you with a link to our pre-employment assessment.
