Maintenance Technician at DBSI Services

Job Role: Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift Location: Chambersburg PA Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Inspect troubleshoot repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment (engines motors pneumatic tools conveyor systems production machines) Perform preventative maintenance and adjustments Operate and maintain drill press grinder handsaw and other metalworking tools Repair electrical and electronic equipment pumps fans valves and motors Weld stainless steel and aluminum components Lubricate clean and maintain tools and equipment Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines Follow safety food safety quality and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area Communicate with supervisors regarding tasks completion and deviations Interpret drawings blueprints schematics and inspection manuals Perform minor plumbing as needed Qualifications: Education / Experience: High School Diploma or GED 3 5 years of industrial maintenance experience Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions correspondence and memos Write simple correspondence and present information effectively Basic math skills: add subtract multiply divide; compute rate ratio percent; interpret bar graphs Mechanical electrical and troubleshooting skills Physical Demands: Walk stand sit stoop kneel crouch crawl climb lift/move up to 50 lbs Use hands and arms regularly; reach grasp handle objects Perform tasks at varying heights and in varying conditions Working Environment: Exposure to wet/humid conditions moving mechanical parts fumes airborne particles Occasionally exposed to high places chemicals outside weather electrical risk vibration Noise level is usually loud; temperature may vary depending on production area Key Skills Electrical Experience,eMaint,Industrial Maintenance,HVAC,Mechanical Knowledge,Property Maintenance,Maintenance,Painting,Plumbing,Hydraulics,Programmable Logic Controllers,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
