The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot diagnose and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Execute corrective maintenance to address breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime. Install commission and calibrate new manufacturing equipment and systems. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities repairs and parts used. Adhere to all safety protocols Lockout/Tagout procedures and company policies. Identify and implement improvements to optimize equipment performance and reliability. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience with industrial electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs VFDs and control systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex equipment failures. Adherence to safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Technical degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g. Industrial Maintenance Mechatronics). Bonus Qualifications Experience with welding and fabrication techniques (MIG TIG Stick). Advanced PLC programming or HMI development experience. HVAC or refrigeration system troubleshooting and repair experience. Precision machining skills (e.g. lathe mill operation). Prior experience with CMMS administration or optimization.
