Job Description

MAU is hiring a Maintenance Technician at our client in Blythewood, SC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems of the physical structures and production equipment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.Benefits Package401k matchingHealth, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunity for advancementShift Information3rd shift, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AMRequired Education and ExperienceAssociates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; AND/OR3 - 5+ years of related experience and/or training; OREquivalent combination of education and experienceGeneral RequirementsBasic troubleshooting, mechanical, PLC, electrical, and fabricationElectrical knowledge and experienceKnowledge of industrial electrical standards and local codesBasic knowledge of arc flash standardsAbility to use basic hand toolsAbility to use computer systems to use work order system and find repair partsPreferred RequirementsCurrent South Carolina Master Electrician licenseEssential FunctionsTroubleshoot automated metal working machineryInstall electrical circuits for 120vac, 230vac, and 480vacPlan installations based on requirements listed on machine name platesBend and install electrical conduit and wire, install breaker panels and junction boxes, and terminate all wiringMaintain and troubleshoot main switch gear panelsInstall/maintain all plant lightingMaintain 1 line drawing for main electrical system and trace and mark individual circuits in panelsAssist other areas of facility maintenance when necessaryWork within a team environment to achieve the current goal for facility maintenanceMaintain 5s in all maintenance and facility areasPerform other tasks as assignedWork Environment or Working ConditionsThe performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protectionMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
