Middlebury Cheese Company, a Northern Indiana cheese maker, is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team and help ensure the smooth, reliable operation of our production facility. In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and systems to minimize downtime while upholding the highest safety and quality standards. We are a subsidiary of the Michigan Milk Producers Association, the 10th largest dairy cooperative in the United States serving dairy farmer members in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin. Other tasks may be assigned as required to properly maintain production equipment, structures, grounds or utilities.Preferred but not required:Heat exchanger (Plate, Shell/Tube, Triple Tube or other) maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.Hot water set operation, maintenance, and monitoringIce builder operation, maintenance, and monitoring.Separator and related systems maintenance, troubleshooting and repairHomogenizer pump maintenance and repairHVAC PM, CM, and monitoring. Awareness of and compliance with all HACCP, USDA, FDA, SQF, MDA, GMP, and Food Safety Standard.
