Were looking for a skilled reliable and customer-oriented Maintenance Technician to help us maintain a high-quality community experience for our students.In this role youll respond to maintenance requests complete repairs support unit turnovers and help keep the property clean safe and fully operational. If you enjoy hands-on work problem-solving and helping residents feel at home this could be a great opportunity for you.What Were Looking ForPrior maintenance experience in student housing multifamily or similar environments preferredStrong skills in general repairs troubleshooting and building systemsExperience with HVAC plumbing electrical and appliance repair (HVAC certification a plus)Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and safelyStrong customer service skills and the ability to work well with studentsAble to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the dayDependable organized and committed to maintaining a well-kept communityWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation as neededValid drivers license is requiredWhat Youll Be DoingComplete work orders for student units and common areasTroubleshoot HVAC plumbing electrical and appliance-related issuesAssist with unit turns including repairs cleaning touch-ups and inspection tasksConduct preventative maintenance to reduce system downtimeKeep maintenance areas clean organized and inventory stockedPerform groundskeeping and community upkeep as neededWork closely with the on-site team to support student satisfaction and safetyParticipate in emergency maintenance response when requiredPay & PerksCompensation Range: $20$26 per hour based on experiencePay Schedule: Paid semi-monthlyQuarterly Bonus OpportunitiesPaid Time Off: Vacation sick time and a floating holidayHealth Benefits: Medical dental vision EAP and more401(k) with Company MatchInsurance Coverage: Begins the 1st of the month after your hire dateWhy Youll Love It HereAt RISE our motto is Love.
