Maintenance Technician at Staffmark Group

Staffmark is hiring a highly skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Allentown. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical and electrical backgrounds and over 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Pay: $25-$35/hour Shift: Modified 1st/2nd Shift | Overtime and weekend work as needed What You'll Do: Diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical systems (gearboxes, conveyors, drive systems) Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic components (cylinders, valves, pumps) Perform MIG and ARC welding, metal fabrication, and basic HVAC tasks Troubleshoot electrical systems: 480V/230V 3-phase, 24V/110V controls, VFDs, starters, sensors Read and interpret electrical schematics; run conduit/wire (EMT, PVC, Rigid) Conduct basic PLC troubleshooting; programming is a plus Handle general facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, painting) Execute facility projects and preventive maintenance tasks Use CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting Perform root cause analysis and support 5S/workplace organization What You Bring: 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience (multi-industry preferred) Strong mechanical and electrical skills Familiarity with automation and world-class maintenance practices Ability to work independently and within a team Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime as needed Proficient in computer-based tools (Office, Teams, Excel) Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Benefits:Our partner company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
