Mammography Technologist II Days at Endeavor Health

Hourly Pay Range:$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:SIGN-ON BONUS: $10000Position: Mammography Technologist IILocation: 15 S McHenry Road Buffalo Grove ILFull-Time 40 hours weeklyHours: Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm rotating Saturdays 8am to 4:30pmWhat you will do:Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures operates radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs used by physicians to detect and treat breast doing so positions patients adjusts xray equipment to correct setting for each examination and evaluates films quality. Tests radiologic equipment and maintains quality assurance related office duties as necessary. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job being attentive of eye contact facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.What you will need:Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology requiredARRT Mammography certification and current ARRT registration required.Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license required. One-year experience as a general radiographer is preferred; on the job training is provided; experience in mammography preferred. Current CPR certification (BLS) required from the American Heart Association. Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
