Job Title: Mammography Technologist – Travel Contract

Location: West Hollywood, California

Pay Rate: $3,259.00 per week

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Monday – Friday (with Saturday rotation)

Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on department needs)

Guaranteed Hours: As per contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a high-volume imaging department. The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

This role requires flexibility to float within the main campus as needed and the ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Operate 3D mammography systems (Hologic preferred)
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and high-quality imaging
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Maintain proper documentation in Epic (preferred)
• Support both inpatient and outpatient imaging services
• Assist with maintaining imaging equipment and department workflow
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R) – Radiologic Technologist
• California Mammography Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (M) – Mammography Certification
• Experience with Hologic 3D mammography systems
• Experience with Epic charting system

Additional Details

• Daily caseload: Approximately 150 patients
• Weekend rotation: Required (Saturday rotation)
• Floating: May float to other departments within the main campus
• On-call: Not required
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Flu vaccine: Required (no exemptions)
