Job Overview

The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing complex accounting areas including pension accounting, debt accounting, revenue recognition, and legal accruals. This role ensures policy adherence, technical accounting compliance, and high-quality financial reporting while serving as a key partner to business units and corporate stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; CPA preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and self-motivated to independently study accounting concepts.
  • Experience overseeing and mentoring staff.
  • Strong critical thinking and intuitive problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail required. Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage audits and support SOX/SOC compliance.
  • Self-driven with proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
  • Prior experience with SAP and/or system migrations a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to interact and engage with a wide range and level of stakeholders.
  • Must possess a high level of organization and planning skills to achieve success in handling many priorities / manage projects and leverage internal influence across multiple groups / teams

Additional Information

Hiring Range At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $125,000-$145,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
