Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Manager, Accounting is responsible for leading key accounting operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and company policies. This role partners with business units and cross-functional teams to support the monthly close, consolidations, compliance, and audit activities while providing guidance on complex accounting matters. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who excels in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities effectively, and is committed to strengthening financial controls and operational excellence.What You Will Do:Lead continuous improvement projects related to accounting processes, compliance or other special projects.Involvement in SBU level activities to ensure accounting and compliance topics are identified timely and reported in accordance with US GAAP and company policy.Involvement in SBU monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidations / close, financial reporting and compliance processes.Drives compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and collaborates with SBU to devise adequate controls to ensure adherence to regulatory and business requirements.Acts as senior advisor on handling of non-routine reporting transactions as well as approval of non-standard journal entries.Evaluates accounting policies and procedures including cost accounting, general accounting, and statutory accounting.Supports and investigates tax, consolidation and close data.Supports and investigates intercompany, holding company and fixed asset accounting.Interact with external auditors on a variety of topics including technical accounting topics, annual financial statements audit and quarterly reviews. Thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment that requires managing multiple projects / tasks of different priority to management. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
