Manager Application Development Location: Broomfield CO (Onsite/Hybrid if applicable) Employment Type: Full-Time Client: Elevations Credit Union Eligibility: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder Only Salary Range: $115000 $140000 About the Role The Application Development Manager is responsible for designing implementing and supporting both vendor-packaged and custom solutions that enhance the organizations core banking platform and enterprise applications. This leadership role oversees a core development team and works closely with business units to deliver high-quality scalable and innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency across the credit union. Key Responsibilities Lead mentor and develop a team of core developers across multiple scrum teams and business lines. Foster a collaborative growth-focused team environment that supports innovation and continuous improvement. Partner with the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure effective delivery communication and stakeholder engagement. Oversee the implementation of software development best practices including design patterns code reviews secure coding and compliance standards. Collaborate with external vendors to integrate and maintain third-party solutions; stay current with strategic product roadmaps. Guide the design development and deployment of business technology solutions that improve operational workflows and system efficiency. Ensure projects follow agile and iterative methodologies and are completed on time with high-quality outcomes. Required Qualifications 6 years of experience working with financial institution technologies such as: Jack Henry Symitar Synapsys Synergy SymXchange ARCU MeridianLink Encompass Alkami COTS Image Center or OpCon. Strong background in modern software development methodologies version control systems and testing frameworks. Proven leadership and people management experience with a focus on coaching mentoring and developing high-performing teams. Experience influencing and presenting to executive leadership. Solid understanding of agile and iterative project management methodologies. Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications BS/MS in Computer Science Information Systems or Engineering. Hands-on experience with Symitar/PowerOn/RepGen development. Familiarity with IBM AIX operating system. Experience in SQL HTML and JavaScript development. Knowledge of the ITIL framework and related practices.
