We have offices in NY San Francisco Boston London Zurich Mumbai & Gurgaon.As a Manager / Associate Principal you will work across Blue Matter as a functional expert playing a key role in identifying analytical solutions to complex client needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesProject & Team LeadershipLead and manage multiple concurrent client engagements of varying complexity ensuring on-time on-budget delivery with exceptional quality standardsOversee project teams (multiple onshore and offshore analysts and consultants) providing day-to-day direction managing workstreams and ensuring alignment to client objectivesDevelop comprehensive project plans manage project finances (SOWs budgets invoicing) and monitor risk throughout project lifecycleLead the design and execution of complex analytical solutions across Blue Matters service offerings including forecasting commercial analytics field operations market access analytics and commercial modelingClient Relationship & Business DevelopmentServe as primary client contact for assigned engagements building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders (VP/SVP level)Lead client workshops discovery sessions and strategic planning meetings to scope projects and align on deliverablesPresent analyses recommendations and strategic implications to C-suite executives and senior leadership teamsIdentify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop proposals for new workContribute to business development activities including pitch preparation and capability presentationsAnalytical Solutions DevelopmentDesign and oversee execution of sophisticated analytical solutions based on clients needs across the product lifecycleCustomize BMIs proprietary analytical tools and frameworks to address unique client challengesTranslate complex analytical findings into actionable strategic recommendations and compelling client narrativesPeople Development & Firm ContributionRecruit mentor and develop junior team members providing career guidance and performance feedbackFoster analytical excellence and problem-solving capabilities across project teamsContribute to BMIs methodological development best practices and intellectual propertyLead internal initiatives to enhance analytical capabilities tools and service offeringsParticipate in hiring process and candidate assessmentDesired Experience and SkillsTechnical & Domain Expertise6-10 years of quantitative analytical experience in life sciences consulting pharmaceutical industry or healthcare analyticsDeep expertise in pharmaceutical quantitative modeling and commercial analyticsAdvanced analytical skills including statistical modeling forecasting and financial modelingProficiency with core 3rd party datasets (provider unit data payer access data analog sales data claims/EMR data)Leadership & ManagementDemonstrated experience managing project teams (onshore and offshore) and leading multiple concurrent engagementsStrong project management skills including planning budgeting risk management and stakeholder communicationProven ability to mentor and develop junior professionalsTrack record of building and maintaining strong client relationships at senior levelsCommunication & Problem-SolvingComfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex client environmentsStrong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilitiesAbility to translate raw data into impactful presentations with strategic insights and actionable recommendationsExceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex analyses to C-suite executivesProven ability to integrate business and industry knowledge in developing creative client-centric solutionsPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree (PhD MD MBA or MS) in quantitative field life sciences or business8 years of experience with demonstrated career progression and increasing responsibilityExperience in specialty therapeutics (oncology rare disease) strongly preferredProven track record of business development and client acquisitionPrior people management or team leadership experienceCompensation: Base salary range: $190000 - $250000 per year.
