The Manager, Education Programs oversees the Surgery Education Office, working closely with Program Directors, the GME Office, and supervising education coordinators supporting residency, clerkship, and fellowship programs. This role is responsible for managing resident and fellow appointments and reappointments, coordinating department-wide educational programming, and ensuring effective communication across initiatives. The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in program administration, proven supervisory leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving process improvements. Strong communication skills and familiarity with graduate medical education systems and accreditation requirements are essential.

Required Education Bachelor's Degree Experience 7 years of related experience to include at least and 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Applicants without the stated preferred degree, but with significant additional related experience may be considered. Preferred Skills Proven ability to lead employee development and improve performance over time Skilled in redesigning business processes for continuous improvement Effective management of multiple short- and long-term projects with competing priorities Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable working with senior faculty Experience with education systems such as MedHub, ERAS, E-Value, and NRMP preferred Working knowledge of higher education regulations, including ACGME, RRC, and ACOG
