Where Youll WorkJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Environmental Services Manager you will provide leadership direction and management oversight for continuous improvement of the standard EVS operating model within the facility. Every day you will manage a highly equipped and engaged Environmental Services Team using evidence-based techniques process and mission metrics (KPIs) to ensure we provide a clean safe environment as we help save lives.To be successful in this role you are thorough and committed to safety. You truly are the most important component contributing to the safety and comfort of our patients visitors and staff. A well-maintained facility with compassionate staff brings comfort and peace of mind to patients their loved ones and all who serve here.Completes performance reviews disciplinary actions scheduling employee engagement survey action planning interviewing hiring and retention of staff.Collaboration with other departments EOC IP/IC committees.Evaluates and makes recommendations for environmental hygiene maintenance for new floor coverings wall coverings furnishings and interior finishes prior to purchase.Manages departmental budgets (e.g. capital projects supplies operations).Ensures regulated medical waste is handled packaged stored and disposed of in accordance with federal and state regulations and appropriate documentation is maintained.Manages the necessary and required resources for the environmental services department and provides recommendations for staffing levels products and equipment. Completes all Human Resources responsibilities for interviewing hiring managing staff development corrective actions and / or staff engagement needs.Job RequirementsMinimum 3 years in Environmental Services. and1 year in Supervisory level experience managing and scheduling staff. andPreferredBachelors Other upon hireCertified Healthcare Environmental Services Tech upon hireRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Fire Protection,Graphic Designing,Academics,Apparel Merchandising,Adobe Flash,Client Services Employment Type : Unclear Department / Functional Area: Environmental Services Experience: years Vacancy: 1
