POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for compliance monitoring of ongoing operations of Grants and Research Programs at University Health. Performs compliance monitoring in areas of grant funding and post award management in adherence to federal and state standards to monitor programs compliance. Performs monitoring of service delivery plans and contracts, contractual performance and data management to ensure quality and compliance requirements. Areas of functional responsibility include compliance adherence in programmatic performance, contracting, financial reporting, budgeting, and accurate billing. Will contribute to the overall achievement of compliance requirements established by the funding agency. Will conduct complex operational and compliance audits from inception to completion in accordance with federal and state guidelines and corporate practices and procedures. Will continuously review and evaluate subrecipients' internal control structures to ensure they adequately prevent and detect errors, fraud, waste and abuse with agencies' funding. Will provide accurate and detailed reports and assistance to University Health's management as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. A graduate degree or certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in compliance/internal audit, public accounting, financial analysis or contract compliance auditing. Exceptional communication and people skills, both verbal and written. Strong understanding of automated systems and processes.
