You must have a strong blend of analytical skills, project management, presentation skills, and ability to develop strong partnerships/relationships with key business partners. You will be leading projects or initiatives to identify new credit segmentation opportunities to drive enhancements to our credit decision process and policies. You will work closely with the Credit Risk Management team, the Financial Services organization, and corporate functional teams developing new product concepts or strategies to help manage risk.You must be able to manipulate large amounts of data, extract key insights from the data using statistical concepts, and then clearly and concisely communicate actionable recommendations based upon your insights. In many cases, you will manage projects at various stages from idea or hypothesis generation to development and implementation, including being responsible for project management plans and timelines. You will be expected to provide leadership at the concept and process level to guide projects and initiatives to completion.ResponsibilitiesExtract and analyze data from multiple disparate sources and data with varying degrees of qualityUtilize statistical segmentation techniques to identify new opportunitiesPerform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of credit polices to pursue specific financial and credit goalsDevelop complete business cases for new opportunities, inclusive of financial modeling and forecastsDevelop underwriting or portfolio credit decision strategiesDevelop or contribute to the development of complex predictive analytical models (risk, loss, decision)Evaluate new risk products (data-only or data-driven solutions) offered by external vendors or partnersPerform trend, regression analysis and key metric forecasting Superior time management skills and project management fundamentals (schedule and resourcing) Qualifications - Minimum Required5+ years of quantitative analytic modeling experience or comparable process management experience.Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related degree3+ years of Credit or Collections risk management experience, preferably with a credit card issuerBA/BS in Finance, Economics, Mathematics. Statistics or related degreeProficiency in SAS or other statistical/analytical programming languagesAdvanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required.Superior communication, organization and presentation skillsQualifications - DesiredMaster’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related degreeBasic to intermediate proficiency in SQL, C++ or PythonProject Management experience preferredWireless/Telecom experience a plus.Experience with credit risk decision engine software and platform solutions#LI-CorporateAt least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesTravel:Travel Required (Yes/No): NoDOT Regulated:DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No): NoSafety Sensitive Position (Yes/No): NoBase Pay Range: $112,500 - $202,900Corporate Bonus Target: 15%The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
