Our consultants take ownership of their success and partner with leadership to achieve their professional development goals.About the Position:Our managers lead our consulting teams and drive results for our clients by providing organizational engineering expertise and project management acumen. Managers help clients achieve their missions while teaching them sustainable ways to effectively achieve outcomes. These seasoned consultants drive business development initiatives to contribute to the companys growth. Responsibilities may include:Serve as subject matter expert in change management disciplines such as strategic planning business process reengineering communications user experience human-centered design digital integration etc. to help clients achieve impactful results.Collaborate with clients to create actionable plans that turn vision mission and goals into executable projects or programs.Guide project work through innovative planning to include customizing approaches integrating technologies introducing new methods and engaging stakeholders in design-thinking processes. Design products and conduct quality review of all client deliverables.Support stakeholder engagements by assessing stakeholder landscape creating communications plans conducting briefings and collaborating across all levels of stakeholders.Lead cross-functional working groups gain buy-in from key stakeholders and ensure comprehensive documentation of all discussions and decisions.Facilitate complex internal and external stakeholder meetings to achieve outcomes that align with long term next steps to achieve results.Identify and support new growth opportunities identifying new service offerings and offering technical writing and proposal assistance to win new work.Manage project resources financials risk mitigation exceptional completion of contract requirements and ad-hoc client requests.Prioritize client demands effectively in a fast-paced environment.Lead project teams by providing direction support and mentorship ensuring team members professional growth and development while achieving project objectives.Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI throughout employment Ten (10) plus years of relevant work experience includingmanagement consultant experienceBachelors degreeProgram management experienceExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong Meeting design and facilitation skillsExperience with federal government agencies or DoD organizationsWillingness to commute to client locations full-time (5 days a week) in and around the Washington Metropolitan area; occasional travel outside of the Washington D.C. areaPreferred Qualifications:Currently holds an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance or higherMasters Degree in relevant discipline (i.e. management organizational development industrial psychology social sciences technology etc.)Additional consulting-related education/certificationsChange management certification (i.e. Lean Six Sigma Prosci)Demonstrated experience working within or in support of the Defense Security Enterprise with a strong understanding of its policies frameworks and operational prioritiesStrong relationship management skills and the ability to build manage and sustain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.Business development experience in a consulting environment including supporting capture efforts contributing to proposals and cultivating client relationships to expand engagement opportunitiesOur Unique Benefits:Comprehensive medical dental and vision insuranceEmployee-funded health savings account (HSA)Unlimited sick leaveGenerous paid vacation time and eight (8) federal holidays401(k) retirement program Rockwood provides a 100% match on employees contributions up to 4% of their salary deferralsEmployer-paid parental leaveEmployer-paid short-term disability long-term disability life insurance and AD&DContinuous learning and tuition reimbursement allowancesBonuses and incentives for high impact workMonthly cell phone hotspot or internet reimbursementsMonthly wellness reimbursementCompany teambuilding events (i.e. Nationals games bowling and more)Salary Range:The annual salary range for this position is $140000 - $185000.00.
