As an Accounting Policy Manager, you will research and interpret U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards and provide accounting guidance to various internal business partners. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to diverse aspects of the business, presenting directly to the Director of Global Accounting and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our financial integrity.This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Dearborn, MI.You'll Have...Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week. #LI-Hybrid #LI-LC2 What you’ll do…You will act as a strategic advisor on technical accounting matters.Research, analyze, and provide guidance on technical accounting matters for new and emerging strategic and operational initiatives.Serve as accounting subject matter expert on a variety of cross-functional activities.Monitor and review new accounting standards (U.S. GAAP & IFRS). You will lead the development of internal accounting policies, communicate changes to applicable stakeholders, assist in developing robust implementation plans, and ensure proper implementation by effective date.Play a key role in the preparation of quarterly SEC filings, specifically owning the completion of assigned footnotes and disclosures.Support internal corporate audits and external audits of our financial statements, along with adherence to financial control processes.Full timePosting Date: 2026-03-04
